1. Who you're contracting with

Protobuild is a service operated by Maverick Mount Technologies Private Limited, trading as Weboconnect, registered in India with its office at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. "We", "us", "our", and "Protobuild" refer to this entity. "You" refers to the individual or business that submits a brief and pays for a package. By submitting a brief and paying our invoice, you agree to these terms.

2. What we deliver

Protobuild produces clickable HTML prototypes — visual demos of an app idea. Depending on the package you choose, deliverables may include a clickable HTML/CSS prototype hosted on a shareable link, source files, a concept logo, a developer handover document, one or more strategy calls, and pitch-deck-ready screenshots. The exact deliverables for your project are confirmed in our scope email.

3. Scope, screens & revisions

Screen counts

Each package includes a maximum number of screens (15 / 25 / unlimited within reasonable scope). Screen counts are total across all platforms you choose. A "screen" means one distinct view in the prototype.

Revisions

Each package includes a fixed number of revision rounds. One round = one batch of feedback submitted together. 12 small fixes in a single message = one round. 2 fixes today and 3 more next week = two rounds.

Out-of-scope changes

Changes that introduce new features, new flows, or redirected concepts not in your original brief are not revisions. We quote them separately as add-ons or new projects, with your approval before any work starts.

4. Payment & refunds

Payment is due upfront, in full, before we begin. We invoice via Stripe in EUR or USD as displayed at checkout. Local taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) may apply.

• Before we start work: Full refund within 24 hours of payment, no questions asked.
• After we've started but before delivery: Pro-rated refund based on work completed, at our discretion.
• After delivery: No refunds. We will fix material misses against your original brief at no cost.

5. Timelines & delays

Stated turnaround times (3, 5, or 7 working days) start from the date payment is confirmed and we have all required information from you. Working days exclude weekends and Indian public holidays. If you cause delays (no response, missing assets, slow feedback), the timeline pauses. If we cause a delay, we'll communicate it as soon as we know and propose a revised timeline.

6. Intellectual property & ownership

Once payment is confirmed and the project is delivered, you receive full ownership of the prototype source files we produce — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the concept logo, and the handover doc. You may use, modify, share, or hand off these files to any developer or team.

We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio (Weboconnect or Protobuild websites, case studies, marketing materials), unless you explicitly opt out in writing. We also retain ownership of any reusable code patterns, design systems, or internal tooling we used to build your prototype. Third-party fonts, icons, stock images, or libraries remain governed by their original licenses.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your idea, brief, and any business details as confidential. We will not share them with third parties or use them for any purpose other than delivering your project, unless you authorize us in writing. This obligation continues indefinitely after the project ends. If you require a separate signed NDA, we're happy to sign one — please request it before submitting your brief.

8. Warranties & disclaimers

We deliver our work with reasonable skill and care. We do not, however, warrant that your idea or business will be successful, that the prototype will pass investor scrutiny, that it will be suitable for production use without further development, or that third-party tools will function without interruption. The prototype is provided "as is", for the purpose of validation, pitching, and developer handover.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of investment opportunities, loss of data, or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time by written notice (email is fine). On termination: you pay for work completed up to the termination date, we deliver work-in-progress files for what's been paid for, and confidentiality obligations remain in force.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, statutory consumer protections may apply in addition to these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the version live on this page at the time you submitted your brief. Older versions available on request.
